The Storm, by Australian film composer Cassie To, captures the feeling of late night restlessness and rumination. Beginning with gentle piano notes, the piece grows into a rapturous and dramatic work. Relentless string arpeggios mirror the circular, spiraling nature of anxious thoughts. This is the second single from her forthcoming album Heart Songs: cinematic music reflecting Cassie’s real world experiences.
